1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to the public website at mbsfitwellness.com and the online interactions controlled by MBSFit, LLC. It does not replace the separate clinical privacy notices, informed-consent documents, or service agreements provided to therapy or wellness clients.
Third-party services—such as a secure scheduling or client portal—maintain their own privacy practices. Their policies also apply when you choose to use those services.
2. Information we may collect
Information you choose to provide
We may receive your name, contact information, scheduling preferences, questions, and other information you voluntarily provide when you request information, schedule a consultation, communicate with MBSFit, or submit a privacy request.
Technical information
Website hosting and security systems may automatically process limited technical information, such as your internet protocol address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, and the date and time of a visit. This information may be used to operate, secure, and improve the website.
Clinical information
This public website is not intended for submitting medical records, detailed mental-health histories, diagnoses, or urgent clinical concerns. Please use the secure client portal or another method specifically designated by MBSFit for sensitive information. Regular email and public website messages may not be secure.

MBSFit does not sell or rent personal information for advertising. The site does not use health information for targeted advertising, and MBSFit does not use geofencing to identify or target people at or near health-care locations.
Washington Consumer Health Data Notice
4. Consumer health data
Washington law defines consumer health data broadly. Depending on what you voluntarily share, an inquiry may reveal that you are seeking wellness or mental-health services or may include information about symptoms, stress, sleep, menopause, trauma, or emotional well-being.
Categories and purposes
MBSFit may collect contact details, service interests, appointment-request information, communications, and other health-related information you choose to provide. It is used only to respond, coordinate requested services, provide care when a professional relationship is established, maintain safety and security, and meet legal or professional obligations.
Sources
Information may come directly from you, from a person you authorize to act for you, or from a service provider you choose to use, such as a secure scheduling or client-portal provider.
Sharing
Consumer health data may be shared only as needed with service providers that support scheduling, secure communications, website hosting, recordkeeping, or professional operations; with people or organizations you authorize; or when required or permitted by law. MBSFit does not sell consumer health data.
Your Washington rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether MBSFit is collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data; request access to that data and a list of recipients; withdraw consent; request deletion; or appeal a denial of a request. Requests are provided free of charge up to the frequency required by law.
To make a request, email hello@mbsfitwellness.com with the subject “Washington Consumer Health Data Request,” or use your established secure client portal. MBSFit may need to verify your identity before completing the request. Please do not include clinical details in an unencrypted message.
If an appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.
5. When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed:
- To vendors that perform services for MBSFit under appropriate safeguards
- When you direct or authorize the disclosure
- To comply with law, court process, professional duties, or mandatory reporting obligations
- When reasonably necessary to prevent or respond to a serious threat to health or safety
- In connection with a lawful business reorganization, subject to applicable privacy obligations
6. Cookies, analytics, and third-party links
Essential technologies may be used to deliver and secure the website. MBSFit does not currently use advertising pixels or sell browsing activity. If analytics or additional cookies are introduced later, this policy will be updated and any legally required choices or consent tools will be provided.
Links to third-party websites and platforms are provided for convenience. MBSFit does not control their privacy, security, or content practices.
7. Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to satisfy legal, ethical, security, and recordkeeping requirements. MBSFit uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no website, email, or electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. HIPAA and clinical privacy
This website policy is different from a Notice of Privacy Practices governing protected health information. When applicable, therapy clients receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices and informed-consent documents explaining how clinical information may be used, disclosed, and accessed.
9. Children
The website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. MBSFit does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this public website.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as services, technology, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are made.
