A quiet, supportive counseling conversation

Professional care, personalized for you.

Counseling services are grounded in professional mental health training, ethical standards, clinical supervision, and evidence informed therapeutic practices. Your experiences, strengths, needs, and treatment goals guide our work together.

Psychotherapy is provided by Tamey Greene, MA, LMHCA, CIMHP, under Washington associate licensure and appropriate clinical supervision. License #MC60563924.

You are getting through the day. Handling what needs to be handled. Showing up for work, family, relationships, and everyone who depends on you.

But underneath all of that?

You are tired. Anxious. Overwhelmed. Irritable. Disconnected. Maybe you do not even feel like yourself anymore.

Your mind will not shut off. You keep replaying conversations. You are reacting to things differently than you used to. The same patterns keep showing up in your relationships. Something from your past may still be affecting your present. Or maybe you cannot point to one specific thing at all.

You just know something is not right.

And you are tired of carrying it by yourself.

You do not have to wait until you are falling apart to get support.

Mental Health Counseling gives you a confidential space where you can stop pretending everything is okay and talk about what is actually happening.

You can say the thing you have not said out loud.

Together, we can begin making sense of what you are experiencing, what may be underneath it, and why certain thoughts, emotions, reactions, or patterns keep showing up.

My approach is trauma informed, strengths based, integrative, and wellness oriented. I am interested in more than a list of symptoms. I want to understand you, your experiences, your relationships, your patterns, your strengths, and what is happening in your life right now.

Depending on your needs and treatment goals, counseling may incorporate evidence informed therapeutic approaches, emotional regulation skills, mindfulness, Clinical EFT, mind body practices, psychoeducation, and other appropriate therapeutic interventions.

Counseling here is active and collaborative.

We are going to do something with what you bring into the room.

We may identify patterns. Connect some dots. Learn why your mind or body responds the way it does. Build skills. Challenge things that are no longer serving you. Practice different ways of responding. And create changes that actually matter outside the counseling room.

This is not about fixing you.

It is about helping you understand yourself more deeply, feel more in control of your life, and have a place where you can finally feel seen, heard, and understood.

What this session is

Mental Health Counseling is psychotherapy and may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, and ongoing clinical care for mental and emotional health concerns.

Unlike a Wellness Session, counseling is appropriate when anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional distress, relationship concerns, difficult patterns, or other mental health symptoms are affecting your daily life and you want therapeutic support to understand and address them.

You do not have to know exactly what is wrong.

You do not have to know where to begin.

You do not have to have the right words.

You just have to show up.

Come as you are.

We’ll start there.

Choosing the right kind of support

Counseling and wellness are separate professional relationships, with distinct scope, intake, consent, and documentation. Spiritual and metaphysical interests listed on the Training & Influences page are complementary wellness influences, not evidence based clinical treatments.
