Training & Influences
The work behind my work.
My approach to wellness has been shaped by years of education, professional training, continuing education, and personal study across mental health, trauma recovery, bodywork, physical wellness, behavior change, human potential, spirituality, and complementary approaches.

Clinical care and complementary influences
Counseling services are grounded in professional mental health training, ethical standards, clinical supervision, and evidence informed therapeutic practices.
Complementary, spiritual, and metaphysical perspectives inform my broader wellness philosophy and may be explored within wellness services when appropriate and desired by you. Human Design, astrology, Reiki, tarot, and other spiritual frameworks are not clinical diagnostic tools or evidence based mental health treatments.
The areas below reflect different kinds of learning. Listing a teacher or course does not imply a credential, clinical modality, or endorsement.
Where science meets the metaphysical.
My work lives at the intersection of East and West, science and the metaphysical, evidence based practices and ancient wisdom. I believe there is rarely one answer, one modality, or one path that works for everyone. I continue to learn from different disciplines, perspectives, and people because understanding the whole person means being willing to look beyond just one way of doing things.

Always Learning
I am, and probably always will be, a student.
I love learning about what helps people heal, grow, change, and become more fully themselves. Some of my studies have resulted in professional credentials and certifications. Others have expanded how I think, the questions I ask, and my understanding of the connection between mind, body, and soul.
I am especially drawn to bridging the gap between science and the metaphysical, between Eastern and Western approaches to wellness. I believe we can respect evidence and remain curious. We can value modern science while recognizing that human beings have been exploring healing, consciousness, energy, meaning, movement, touch, and the mind body connection for thousands of years.
For me, being integrative means bringing those worlds together thoughtfully rather than believing we have to choose between them.
That is the philosophy behind MBSFit.
